Thursday, October 23, 2008 - Dark, thick, impenetrable color in the glass. Purple florals and dark berries precede a bit of booze on the nose. Thick palate, big chewy tannins, and what I perceived as blackberries and a touch of spice. This sucker didn't budge over the 4+ hours I had it open, except that some of the alcohol blew off of the nose during that time.
