Typical Carlisle, penetrating &juicy dark fruit flavors with a soft and round texture, with a little more grace than plushness . This also has some herbal notes weaving through the dark fruits. I think this is more immediately accessable than the 2005. That said. there is a decent grip to the tannins on the finish which I think need some more time to soften. Upside to this with some extra cellar time. Another absolutely delish bottle from the folks at Carlisle.
