90 Points

Thursday, September 16, 2010 - Premier Cru Red Burgundy (Willamette Wine Storage, Portland OR): Apples, raspberries, and cloves show on the nose along with a hint of heat. Some cool plum flavors with gentle tannins and even acidity jump onto the palate right away. The fruit becomes juicy on the mid palate with dark cherries joining the plums. The structure becomes bigger toward the finish, and as it fades, nice fruit still persists. The finish is excellent now, and I think this wine will really shine with some more age to soften out the texture. 90-
