Sunday, October 29, 1989 - With K at home at dinner (chicken). Straw color. Nose is mineral, with wet stones. On the palate, the wine starts off light and soft, then exhibits a burst of intense, mouthfilllng fruit and a heavy dose of oak. The wine then exhibit even more complexity as it turns to creaminess and vanilla before finishing (finally) with wood on a slightly bitter note. Very complex and interesting wine. 5-11-17-7: 90/100.
