  With K at home at dinner (chicken). Straw color. Nose is mineral, with wet stones. On the palate, the wine starts off light and soft, then exhibits a burst of intense, mouthfilllng fruit and a heavy dose of oak. The wine then exhibit even more complexity as it turns to creaminess and vanilla before finishing (finally) with wood on a slightly bitter note. Very complex and interesting wine. 5-11-17-7: 90/100.

  With Michael Lehmann and Brett Raven at the London Wine Bar at lunch (smoked turkey club sandwich). Pale gold. Very nice fruity aroma; deep ripe core of banana, vanilla, ripe apples. Tart flavor, but still very attractive in the mouth, with coconut and vanilla. A very intense mouthful of wine, it finishes surprisingly short. 4-12-13-6: 85/100.
