Friday, May 7, 2010 - American Heart Association - Dinner and Evening presented by Chateau Margaux (Mellon Auditorium - DC): Great chalky, dusty nose, almost like a South African Cab nose. This was from a magnum so would not have aged as quickly as the normal bottles which I believe are now at their peak according to the winemaker who was with us. The taste was not as great as the bouquet but a classic bordeaux and this was better than the 1993 but for me behind the 1999.
