Saturday, October 29, 2016 - 70th Birthday Dinner at Flemings with the 1985, 1986, and 1989 Chateau Margaux and 1946 Massandra, nose of black berry, plum, black cherry, black currants, black pepper and a hint of orange bell pepper, same on the palate, big body, opened big and improved consistently throughout dinner, mouth filling fruit, rich, almost elegant, lovely tasting from start of dinner to finish, always and easily above it's peers tonight, long, flavorful finish, at it's peak, fabulous with the In Bone Filet Mignon. My #1 of 3 and Group #1.
