96 Points

Sunday, November 25, 2018 - Opened at Thanksgiving to enjoy our blessings in life. Paired perfectly with grilled burgers from the green egg. This bottle was superb. Way beyond peak, but, a classic rendition of a very aged wine. So ready to drink, and, would not wait any longer. Medium, ruby red color. Major rim variation in the glass. No flaws. Moderate sediment. Faint to mild old world nose. Classic Bordeaux. Low tannin. Low acid. Low alcohol. Short finish. Earns this rating just for holding up over time, and, allowing us to experience a truly aged wine.
