Tuesday, October 17, 2023 - Italian Wine Scholar at the Texas Wine School. 70% Sangiovese & 30% Merlot and Cab. Sauv. Med (-) ruby. Clean, med red cherry, cranberry, candied raspberry, plum, violets, earth. All stainless. Dry, consistent w/ the nose. Med (+) acidity, w/ only med tannins and med alcohol (12.5%). Still, it seems nicely balanced, w/ medium body & med to med+ flavor intensity & length. Very food-friendly & a great value in the $10-$13 range. Drink in the next year or two, not intended for aging.
