Saturday, April 22, 2023 - what a difference 6 years makes! from a burly, uncompromising beast to this. from the e get go, this did not look like a Corton. on the paler (red) end of the pinot spectrum. the nose was very feminine. lilac, lavender and very red fruited. and on the palate, it too was very unCorton-like. a lithe, feminine wine that made me think of a Chambolle from a light-handed producer. only downside was that the finish was short. very enjoyable regardless.
