Wednesday, May 1, 2013 - shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. the wine continues to show well. i enjoyed this bottle even more than the last. dark color but fruit is turning more cherry like. magnificent, generous nose. silky mouth feel but with a dose of tannin to provide backbone and hold things together. Zoftig legs coat the side of the glass. Small amount of granular sediment on last sip and more adhering to the bottle neck. 5 second finish. this wine continues to develop with increasing complexity. i am extending longevity despite the short estimates of the pros. this was their first commercial vintage. excellent product for a first effort. need to see what they have been up to lately.
