Wednesday, July 30, 2014 - Light red in color. Translucent. 13.5% ABV. Dried cherries, earth and mineral on the nose. Light in body with medium acidity. The wine has a touch of astringency with some substantial tannins. Cherries, strawberry and a huge dose of earthy soil on the palate. The long finish is the most appealing aspect of the wine. Tough wine to warm up to and I'm not sure additional bottle age is the answer.
