Monday, November 10, 2008 - Perhaps the wine is just too young, but I found the oak to overwhelm some of the fruit. A solid, well crafted wine. The fruit died after a few hours in the decanter, and the strong tannins were unrelenting. Full bodied and frustratingly backward. Give it a few years and it will be lovely.
