Thursday, May 27, 2021 - Perfect fill and cork; popped, poured and consumed over the course of four hours. Purple core turning to deep garnet at the rim. Classic and complex bouquet of dried plums, blackberry, crushed stones, bramble, black truffle; hints of roasted herbs and sautéed mushrooms. Medium bodied, with ripe and velvety tannins, great depth and balance, with a long and savory finish. Really impressive, and will surely improve for at least twenty years.
