Sunday, August 21, 2011 - Decanted 1 hr. Deepest purple. Not translucent. Medium tears. Scents of dark cherry and forest floor. Black fruit, spice, tobacco, and a truly long finish with nicely integrating tannins. Modern style for a rioja, on the edge of too much, but not beyond. I'm interested in its evolution.
