Tuesday, April 30, 2013 - This version of the Scallop Shelf was the first Peay I ever drank in a great restaurant in the Monterey area, Passionfish. It still completely seduces me: dark fruited, complex tannins, long finish…reminiscent of some of the very little grand cru burgundy I have tasted.
