Monday, September 20, 2010 - Showing its age a bit, has developed a diesel-like funk on the nose. On the palate, shows like a good mature Left Bank Bordeaux, with some of the bitterness that seems to characterize a lot of 95s. Could use a little more pleasingness to the fruit. Lots of classic licorice, lead pencil-type characteristics, as well as a slight hint of band-aid on the nose. Decent, but ultimately not outstanding. 90-91
