Thursday, November 22, 2012 - A 7 hour decant to try and wake it from its slumber. Powerful nose, spicy and meaty with cloves and red berry aromas. On first pour it's plump and blackcurranty, the oak still forward and dominant. Softens a little by the third glass with a nice savoury tomato juice flavour coming through and a creamy vanilla filled finish. I'm in no rush to drink the rest of these, plenty of time left.
