Friday, October 8, 2010 - Eh...glad I got this with the heavy Cindy discount. Decanted 3 hours, the nose has some red fruit and is almost port-like in the profile with some added forest floor. Tasting this wine is almost confusing; it's fairly sweet, yet quite bitter on the finish so it all culminates into a slightly awkward package. In fairness, there are some interesting flavor overtones, and that bitter finish also displays good minerality.
