Monday, July 9, 2012 - Tasted over two nights. The nose has a nice earthiness on top of dark red fruits. The palate however just never turned into anything special. Better on the first night, there was also earth and fruit, but not much acid/tannin structure to add depth. On the second night it was more bacon notes but even less structure. Nothing bad just not special. We'll see what time does for it, hopefully this is just an awkward stage.
