Wednesday, August 19, 2020 - Decanted for sediment. Light garnet color. Nose of cherry cough drop, licorice, slightly stewed/baked red fruits. Similar flavors on the palate with a definite cough drop and licorice note on the back end. Medium- acid, medium+ tannin with a bit of heat on the finish. Probably would have been better a few years ago so I would drink up if holding any.
