Saturday, March 27, 2010 - '01 Cab faceoff - Insignia vs. Pride Reserve. Right now Pride wins. Decanted Insignia for 30 min., rebottled for ride to restaurant, then reopened and again decanted for another hour+. Insignia was more subtle, revealing less fruit in nose & taste. Smooth, nicely built wine yet still tannic/tight, especially on the finish. This one needs more cellar time.
