Saturday, April 17, 2004 - Tom brought this for us to enjoy, as it is not yet released. The nose shows caramel, vanilla, oak, and blackberries. Hopefully with time the oak will soften and let the fruit shine. The palate is fairly soft with a velvety mouthfeel. Overall it is softer than the 99 but in perfect balance.
