I enjoyed this even more than I did in December. Notes are similar, with dark cherries and high cacao chocolate. But this seemed smoother and better integrated, really a terrific bottle. Nothing seemed out of place, and no noticeable alcohol. On balance I still think the 2002 is a bit better, but both are very, very good, and the 2001 shined bright this night.
