Friday, January 27, 2017 - 94. 2 hr decant. Nose of blackberry jam, wet coffee grounds and caramel. Softer and more restrained on the palate. The tannins have resolved and the wine has a smooth finish. Still well balanced. Feels like it should ride the plateau for another decade.
