98 Points

Saturday, December 26, 2015 - If Wine Spectator says this is a 98 point in, how can I score it any different. By far one of the best wines we have ever had. Almost Rhone style, and although a big wine, certainly not what you would expect from an Aussie Syrah. On the nose it is filled with black pepper and spices. On the palate it is a big wine with flavors of plum, blueberry and black cherry along with a mild hint of nuts (almond) and soft tannins and a smooth prolonged finish with hints of black pepper again.
Wish I had more of this vintage!!
