Monday, February 12, 2024 - I'm not going to make any claims that this is Dagueneau; and in point of fact, there are a handful of other Saint-Bris wines that I'd give the slight nod to (Goisot, e.g.). On the other hand, do I know of / have I recently had a more refined ~$20+ French SB? Not sure I do or have. Just a great wine to have ready to hand. Crisp & limestone-zapped, it's a thing that beats many/most lower-to-middle-tier Sancerres; great QPR.
