Sunday, August 18, 2013 - Powerful, dark, and complex with a long finish, but I'm a bit undecided on this one. Blackberry, dark plum, eucalyptus, licorice, leather & machine oil, and some pepper on the finish. Certainly not your typical fruit forward Aussie Shiraz, and a little "hot" and lacking balance. Better after some additional time to open up, and I'll see what more time in the cellar does for my remaining bottles.
