Thursday, December 19, 2013 - Second bottle opened from the shipment. Much like last time, required some time to open up. Started out with heavy smoked meat bouquet and flavors. Over a few hours, evolved substantially. Heavy cocoa and graham cracker - like a s'more in a glass. Some licorice notes on the finish.

Still a little bit of heat. Will probably benefit from a few more years. Great wine at this price point.
