Friday, March 14, 2014 - As with many Australian Shiraz of a certain quality this has a lovely nose with a mix of blueberries and blackcurrants. However while it is densely extracted and full of ripe fruit I find it a little dull and flat. A bit hot, tannins aren't pronounced but what is there is a little rough. For the price, disappointing. Perhaps 10 more years would see it shine but it does nothing to re-kindle my interest in this type of wine.
