Sunday, May 21, 2017 - Brought this to a family dinner at Dragon Phoenix Restaurant to celebrate the 1st birthday of my niece.

Rich and balanced with lush notes of plums and a touch of spice. This is a wine in harmony with the elements though it was relatively closed and short at first. The extraction of fruits and flavours were relatively muted.

When the wine opened up the meat juices were evident in the body with chewy tannins and medium finish.

Had higher expectations of this wine but it didn't really paired well with the Cantonese food we've had.
