Friday, May 1, 2009 - Excellent white wine ... a blend of 75% Chardonnay, 15% Viognier and 10% Sauvignon Blanc. Bought at the Bedell winery on Long Island last year. The nose was wonderfully pleasing with aromas of peach, apricots, vanilla and a hint of oak and floral tones. Absolutely delicious and flavorful fruity taste that was well-textured. Nicely balanced acidity with a lingering, slightly minerally finish. Wish I had bought more! The bottle is unique with the base recessed so you can put your thumb up into the base -- allowing ease of pouring.
