Friday, July 1, 2011 - The 07 Sonoma Coast is drinking beautifully today. After beng double decanted for a couple of hours this is displaying black cherry, some blackberry, some cola and sassafras notes and the barest hint of anise with earthy undertones. The red fruit seems to be fading into the backround but is still present as a more subtle nuance with white pepper on the 45 second finish. I have yet to be truly disappointed by Kosta Browne wines, and this bottle is no exception.
