Friday, November 21, 2008 - As the cork unseated the nose was immediately evident. Nose of dark fruit, coffee, tobacco and leather. In the mouth it is rich and nicely plush with well integrated tannins - at times it feels like you are holding cream in your mouth. The finish is equal to the task and the black fruit flavor stays with it. This wine has no real weakness. Drank over 24 hours, it had lost a little lustre primarily on the nose and finsih but was still very enjoyable. Will be having the next bottle with red meat.
