Sunday, April 10, 2011 - Interesting evolution over several hours in the decanter. Earthy on the nose and somewhat chocolatey on the palate at first, it morphs into a well-balanced, clearly Cab Sauvignon driven wine with clear fruit over time. Only thing knocking it off-balance a bit is a little heat, both on the nose and palate. Deep purplish color. Drinking well now, and will be good for a number of years to come. Lovely wine overall!
