Thursday, April 18, 2013 - this wine is still new and has potential to improve.
the nose is vegetal, earthy, herbal and a lot of green pepper.
this wine is very silky with some very smooth tannins. the palate is very complex with a taste of herb, coffee, caramel, crushed stone and and after taste of dark chocolate. i really like this wine. but if you like something fruity, this is not for you.
i should have spent some time to decant it. i still have 1/2 bottle left and let's see how it will evolve. and good that i still have another bottle and i will lay it down for at least another 5 years.
