Thursday, April 29, 2004 - Tasted at the Geyser Peak Blind Tasting Challenge. The retailer was selling this for $77. Dark purple color. 35% Cab Franc, 35% Cab Sauv, and 30% Merlot. Aromas of green bell pepper, black raspberry, and cocoa. Woody, toasty oak overwhelms flavors of wild strawberry and rhubarb. Polished texture, and a sharp tannic finish. A bit awkward and green.
