Friday, September 1, 2017 - Possessing a beautifully aromatic nose, with wafts of fresh berry fruits, on the palate the wine is initially smooth and almost opulent with great balance and depth. However a wall of aggressive tannin suddenly appears and carries on through to the finish. Although surprising and unexpected, it does balance and is not unpleasant. However, it does disappoint after the initial promise.
