Wednesday, March 10, 2021 - This has moved up a notch in the last year, and is starting to drink at its peak. You still could be forgiven for thinking you were drinking a left bank Bordeaux and it is very different in profile from other St Emilions of the vintage. The nose and palate are driven by green bell pepper, tobacco, and cedar. The tannin has really sweetened over the last 12 months, and the previous harsh mouthfeel has now been resolved. The finish is exceptional and pushing 60 seconds and is perfectly balanced and with an extraordinary depth. 94+
