95 Points

Monday, May 31, 2021 - Graphite, pencil lead, wet earth, smoke. Oddly for a st emillion, quite a bit of leafy, green Cabernet notes. Refreshing, light on its feet with a dangerously alluring mid-palate and seductive black cherry, cedar and liquorice finish. Tannins totally melted, this seems like it’s in a great place right now with no obvious scope for material improvement. You’d be completely mad or entirely indifferent to the utility of £200 to buy this now, but this is a terrific wine. 95
