Wednesday, July 20, 2016 - Powerful nose of black currants and ripe cassis. Quite ripe with strong flavors of cassis and black fruits. Very expressive with good earthy flavors and notes of bitter chocolate and mid-eastern spices. Finishes a bit hot with somewhat rustic tannins and jammy flavors. There is good raw material here but this winery has some work to do to have this compete on the world stage.
