Wednesday, October 20, 2010 - Yikes, this was good. Gorgeous nose punches you with honeyed pear, moving through to the palate with a great lemony acidity, complexity and length. Not overripe, not overoaked, but not lean and mean like a Chablis - just perfect restraint. Lots of extraction. A touch of oxidation added complexity without seeming over-the-hill. Awesome.
