Tuesday, December 9, 2014 - A beautiful example of Chianti classicism, with a leathery and sour cherry nose, full of dust and herbs. Plenty of structure from the bright acids and lightly grippy tannin. This begged for a good Bolognese sauce, with which it paired beautifully, but this was just at the beginning of its drinkability and it clearly has the material to show another dimension with more bottle age. Hold.
