Friday, June 11, 2010 - The nose had some Pinot funk with cherry, raspberry and spice aromas. The palate was different than the nose had suggested with some tart and tangy red fruit flavors, earth and kirsch flavors. Medium bodied with a medium-long finish. This wine was good, but not nearly as impressive as the 08 vintage that I tasted just a couple weeks ago.
