Monday, March 30, 2009 - Year after year one of the best performing Spanish whites. 80% Verdejo, 10% Viura, 10% Sauvignon Blanc. Pale straw colored. Zippy, citrus nose. The entire citrus family resides in the bottle along with some snappy apple and a touch of minerality. At it's affordable price it manages to still have a solid beginning, middle, and end palate. Clean and bright. Fabulous food wine -- seafood especially. (D 6.5, F 6.5; Cent., MSW)
