Wednesday, December 7, 2022 - Start to open up after 2.5 hours. Before it opened up, the nose has a distinct woody and old drawer smell. After a few hours in the decanter, it came around and I found it balanced and rich. nose is still distinct, but some smokiness, berries, pepper, and a bit funky. Full tanins, and long finish. Well made for a tough year!
