Monday, July 8, 2019 - My first bottle I drank of several months (maybe more) ago at an extended family get together hit me as an uptight, slender but elegant bottle of wine. Fast forward to now, and I find there's much more here.
The usual fruit, but with tones of rawhide and forest leaves touching the edge of the palate. Mouthfeel is amazing - the texture is meaty, yet smooth on the tongue. Very fine sandiness - which ends with a nicely done finish.
Definitely on the downward swing of cellaring (at least this bottle, my second of four), so I'd start queuing them up if you've got a lot and enjoy them soon.
