Sunday, October 7, 2012 - Along with Reynella, I enjoyed this single vineyard Syrah more than any other Aussie I have tried. The wine looks Inky, opaque and deeply colored. The legs are Slow. It smells like Blackberry, and Fig. It tastes like Blackberry, Forest floor, Smokey Bacon, Black Pepper, and Meaty. The body is Full. The wine has Fleshy texture. The wine finishes Long. I especially like the balance and elegance of this well-made wine.
