Sunday, August 6, 2017 - This was consumed due to discovering it was a leaker when I transferred it from one cellar to another and had it on a top rack. Fortunately, I caught it the same day I made the transfer, but not before it had soiled quite a number of other bottles (that I was planning to sell). Alas, now I'm forced to consume them <vbg>! And this one as well. Surprisingly this was pretty damn good. Not quite to the level of other recent notes or my last note, but it was not flawed. Definitely mature and without the zippy acidity of youth. I didn't keep notes, but had it with family with another bottle in reserve and didn't need to open that other one. I noticed that another Selbach-Oster, the 2002 W-S Spatlese also is leaking. Anyone else note this from this producer?
