Wednesday, May 29, 2019 - This complex red Bordeaux wine deserves aeration in a decanter for several hours before serving and is fit for a feast. Anything short is a mistake. Has a good balance of acid, fruit, tannin and alcohol, though can leave a slight hot sensation on the palate in the finish. Pairs well with walnuts, Humboldt Fog, and braised short ribs. There’s a lot of cellar life left on this vintage. HOLD
